CIA Committee Meeting

Done: Registered as a club
Jafwa
-used to hire out clubs 4 jafwa
-they're not registered/insured
=> Andrew is getting invoices 4 2006 jafwa room
 -jafwas doing own invoicing
 -jafwa may move from curtin
Pencafe
?become a part of the cia
 Pro: more members
Con: most of the people aren't guild members so won't get guild
funding
Guild members: need 51% of club to be guild members to get guild
funding. Only have 41%

Venues:
-end of year & midsemesters rooms used to have not to pay, so
have to pay now,
decision have to be by November
 -where to put stuff?
Comssa has own common room:
 ? can use their room, need to look into it
 ? talk to school of social science (have to rename CIA)
*have to get 2 rooms
*have to get 2 guild contacts
*Jason's gonna be contact for guild
*Kate & Andrew's gonna be contact for clubs and societies e-mail
-Andrew's taking a leave of absence
 -is he still a student and can be president
Fundraisers
 -hire barbecue/grill
 -get bulk sausages from coles karawara
-get buns (rather than 2 slices of bread-sell better) from
brumby
 -buy bag of onions from coles
 -2 sausages in a bun (force dogs) -sell better
 -get jam donuts (sell really quickly)
 ?drinks (not allowed to sell due to guild)
 -need catering gloves
 -need tongs
 -paper bags
 -have someone handle the money
 -jelly bean count (guess how many jelly beans)
-need some way to contact ie mobiles better, need at least
2 methods to contact them,
-need conditions of entry
Activities
 -War of the Rings,
 -movie nights eg few common theme nights,
 -plays
 -dark zone league
 -miniature tournaments eg roboleague
 -pub crawl
 -cocktail party
 -costume party eg toga night
NEED TO SET A DATE, FOR WHAT AND IS HAPPENING!!!(at least a
week's notice)
-some way to get more guild members

Discussing club sign up with guild
Also getting new executives as signatories on the bank account
Tim free Thursday and Friday afternoon, maybe Monday or Wednesday afternoon
Jason free Monday all day, then after 3.15pm for rest of week
Daniel to become the CIA snack junky

Thursday afternoon may be best time

Discussed getting Tim up to speed with JAFWA invoicing
Alex to be the new JAFWA liason

How many jelly beans
Snack bar for the CIA days - Daniel to be the official club Snack Pusher
